William Edward Adkins

William Edward Adkins, 49, of Wrightsville, passed away on Thursday, May 28, at his home.

William was born on January 5, 1977, in Helena, Arkansas, and raised in Marvell, Arkansas, to his parents Edward Howard Adkins and Lynn Smith.

William affectionately known as "Bubba Adkins" to his family and friends received a formal education at Marvell Public School District.

William was employed as a farmer for several local farms in the community for several years.

Bubba was an all-around country boy. He enjoyed hunting fishing, ATVs, and dirt bikes. He also enjoyed writing and music, but most of all he enjoyed drawing and art.

His mother Ruby Lynn Smith Aderholt preceded Bubba in death.

His survivors are his daughters: Destiny Adkins of Brooklyn, MO., Abigail Wiles of Searcy, AR.; and Zaylee Adkins; grandchildren: Amorie Holiday, Vanessa Holiday, and Zayleigh Rivers all of Brooklyn, MO.; father: Edward Howard Adkins of Hot Springs, AR.; brother: Matthew (Tiffani Gayheart) Adkins of Hot Springs, AR.; sister: Jenny Adkins of Marvell, AR.; aunt: Kathey Wooten of Marvell, AR.; uncles: Dennis Adkins of Marvell, AR., Ernie Smith of Helena, AR., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 2:30pm at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley with Reverend Lamont Swanigan serving as eulogist.
