Verna Mae Brown, 95, of McCrory, passed away on Wednesday evening, May 21 at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy.

Verna Mae was born in McCrory, Arkansas to John Jones and Mary Kendrick-Jones and was a lifelong member of Morning View Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Brown.

Verna Mae was a former employee of the Sam Wyloge Family & Goldstien Family.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening, May 30, 2025, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Morning View Missionary Baptist Church, 824 East Rainey Avenue in McCrory.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, May 31, 2025 at 11 AM at the McCrory School District Auditorium in McCrory with Interment to take place at Morning View Cemetery in McCrory by C.J.
