Tyrone DeShawn Butler

Tyrone Deshawn Butler, 50 of Brinkley, passed away on Sunday Saturday, November 1, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.

Tyrone was a lifelong member of Mount of Olive Ministries in Brinkley, where, as a young man, he served on the church's Usher board.

"TY" as Tryone was affectionately known, received his education from the Brinkley Public School. He was a 1993 graduate of Brinkley High School, where he participated in extracurricular activities such as football, basketball and the school band.

After graduating school, Tyrone attended college for a short time and eventually went to work for Van Heusen Shirt Factory in Brinkley for a short time before his health began to fail.

His father Joel Ford, his maternal grandparents who raised him for a time Henry Butler and Janet Butler and his uncle Elton Butler all preceded Tryone in death.

Survivors are: three daughters: : Iyana (Chandler) Butler-Baker, Marheana Butler both of Conway, AR, Deshia Butler of little Rock, AR; his mother Maureen Butler-Paleafei of Brinkley, AR; his sister Raven Paleafei of Brinkley, AR; bonus brother in love Rancy North of Brinkley, AR; nephew: Aiden Wilson of Conway, AR; aunts: Toni Butler and Regina Butler both of Little Rock, AR; uncles: James Butler of Tracy, CA; and Kevin Butler of Brownville, TX, and host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening, November 14 from 5 until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley, Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 11 AM at Mount of Olive Ministries, 1200 North Main Street Extended in Brinkley with Reverend Oscar M. Conyears serving as eulogist. Interment will take place at Douglas Cemetery, Deberry Levee Road and Henry Butler Lane in Dewitt by C.J.
