Ronnie Lynn Emerson, 52, of Augusta passed away on Tuesday, October 1 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
Ronnie was born on November 19, 1971, in Augusta, Arkansas to Napoleon Edward "Pank" Emerson and Dorothy D. Jones-Emerson.
Ronnie received his education from the Augusta High School District. He was a proud graduate of Augusta High School Class of 1990.
After graduation high school, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Navy where he served from 1991-1995 and worked as an operations specialist. He received an honorable discharge for his service.
As a child growing up on Augusta, Ronnie and his family attended Ward Chapel Methodist Church.
Ronnie was employed by Southern State Construction Company in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as the project manager until his health began to fail. He had formerly been employed with other construction companies such as Frank Rogers Construction and Nabholz Construction Company. His specialty was Concrete Work and Roofing.
His parents: Napoleon "Pank" Emerson and Dorothy Deal Emerson; and his sister Rose Marie Emerson Atchinson all proceeded him in death.
Survivors are his: two daughters; Lynnsey Chandler of Conway, AR and Skylar Chapelle of Jonesboro, AR; five grandchildren Nakhir, Khylan, Kamren, Raelynn, and Auriana; five brothers; Don (Helen) Emerson Sr., Robert Jones, Katrell Emerson all of Augusta, AR, Jerry (Andretta) Butler of Searcy, AR and Edward (Renia) Emerson of Wichita, KS; one sister: Deborah (Stephen) Emerson-Brown of Beebe, AR; one special cousin Harry (Michelle) Bonds of Little Rock, AR and three special classmates: Timothy Kendall, Timothy Watson, and Daryl Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 11:00 AM at New Holly Grove Baptist Church, 501 Main Street in Augusta with Reverend Justion Shaw serving as Eulogist.
