Riley Franklin Adell

Riley Franklin Adell, 80, of Brinkley, passed away on Thursday October 9 at Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City.

Riley was born June 26, 1945 in Brinkley Arkansas to Herman Adell Sr. and Ollie Crawford-Adell.

"Frankie" as Riley was well known, was baptized under the late Reverend J.C. Brewer and became a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church (Mount Olive Ministries) in Brinkley.

Frankie attended the Brinkley Public Schools. He was a 1965 graduate of Marian Anderson High School in Brinkley.

Frankie was employed by Bobby Henard Tire Service in Brinkley for more than 20 years before he retired. He had formerly been employed by Brinkley Motors (Waggoner Industries) for several years and Terrell's Liquor Store also in Brinkley.

His parents Herman Adell Sr. and Ollie Adell; and his siblings: Clarence Adell, Charlie Adell, Herman Adell Jr., Louis Adell, Buford Adell, Marilyn Adell-Foster, Ollie Mae Adell-Davis, Carrie Hardin and Garry Adell all preceded Riley in death.

Survivors are his son Lamont Aldridge of Dallas, TX; his daughter Brittany (Preston) Wynne of Waxahachie, TX; brothers: Michael Adell and Oliver Wayne Adell both of Brinkley, AR; sisters: Barbara Chunn, Evelyn Adell, Cheryl Burnett, and Carolyn Dillard all of Brinkley, AR and Mary Beth (Jeff, Sr.) Hudson of Little Rock, AR; a brother in law Warren Foster of Flint, MI; a sister in law Nancy Adell of Forrest City, AR extended family Gene Morrison of Little Rock, AR and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from October 19 from 5 until 6 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon October 20 at 12:00 PM noon at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel in Brinkley with Reverend Dedrick Adell serving as eulogist. Interment will take place at Brinkley Memorial Park Cemetery in Brinkley by C.J.
