Pamela Renee Davis

Pamela Renee Davis, 63 of Stuttgart, passed away on Wednesday evening July 30 at her home in Stuttgart.

Pamela was born April 20, 1962 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to James Porter Gather and Ida Mae Bell-Gather.

Pamela was a member of Full Gospel Apostolic Church in Stuttgart for the past year. She had previously been a member of Lively Stone Apostolic Church also in Stuttgart where she sang in the church choir.

Pam received her early education from the Stuttgart Public School in Stuttgart from grades K-8. She went on to complete her education at the Cave City Public Schools. She was a 1980 graduate of Cave City High School.

Pam was a former employee of Bellville Shoe Company in Dewitt, Arkansas for several years.

Pam was united in holy matrimony to George Davis, for whom she had been married for 25 years. Although the marriage ended, they remained friends and confident.

Her son Demetric Eckles, her parents: James P. and Ida M. Gather, a brother Robert Ferguson, and a sister Deborah Harges all preceded Pam in death.

Survivors are: her son Eric Smith of Stuttgart, AR; a daughter Tangula (William Sr.) Bell of St. Peter, MO; five grandchildren: Daija Eckles of Little Rock, AR; KaMaya Peoples of Dewitt, AR; Anaya Bell and William Bell Jr. both of St. Peter, MO and Emaurie Smith of Stuttgart, AR; and a host of other relatives, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 11 AM at Lively Stone Apostolic Church, 1204 North Maple Street in Stuttgart with Pastor Delores Purley serving as Eulogist. Interment will take place at Long Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart by C.J.
