Nathaniel Collier, 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas formerly of Cotton Plant passed away on Sunday, January 12 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Nathaniel was born August 31, 1937, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Abraham Collier Sr. and Josephine Chunn-Collier.
Growing up in Cotton Plant, Nathaniel attended the Cotton Plant Public Schools.
Nathaniel also known as "Donnie" or "Bo Weevil" was a former employee of Clemmel Edmonds Farms in Cotton Plant where he served as farmer for more than 20 plus years.
His parents: Abraham and Josephine Collier; and his brother Leon Collier proceeded him in death.
Survivors are: his seven nephews Earnest Collier and Larry Vanpelt both of Chicago, IL; Victor (Virginia) Collier of Little Rock, AR; Terry Collier of Jacksonville, AR; Darrell (Rose) Collier of Denver, CO; Kevin (Sheree) Collier of Concord, NC; and Brian (Chandra) Collier of San Antonio, TX; two nieces: Tony Ellis of New Haven, CT and Vanessa Burton of Conway, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 AM at Ash Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 114 McMurtry Street, in Cotton Plant. Internment will take place at the Ash Grove Cemetery in Cotton Plant by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley (870) 589-5036 and Stuttgart (870) 672-7100 email: williamsfuneraldirectors2022@gmail.com
Pallbearers are Douglas Butler, Kevin Smith, Cortez Jackson Jr., Sylvester Shockley, Lamar Carroll, Calvin Munns.
