Michael Tristan Johnson

Michael Tristan Johnson, 38 of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, morning December 11 in Little Rock.

Michael was born January 28, 1985 in Augusta, Arkansas to Sandra Akins and Michael Johnson.

During his early years, Michael resided in Augusta until his family relocated to the Little Rock area. He then went on to attend the Little Rock Public Schools.

Michael was employed with Delta Plastic of Little Rock for more than 2 years.

"Lil Mike" as Michael was affectionately known was a sports fan. He specially loved and enjoyed football and basketball. He also enjoyed music, especially RAP.

Although he was a loner, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, dinners and reunions.

His maternal grandfather William Taylor and his paternal grandparents: Ashley and Tennessee Johnson preceded Michael in death.

Survivors are: his son Cameron Hunter of Conway, AR; Alyicia Johnson, La'Maya Johnson and Da'Nya Johnson all of Little Rock, AR; a grandson Kai Anthony Johnson of Little Rock, AR; his parents: Sandra Akins of North Las Vegas, NV and Michael Johnson of McCrory, AR, his maternal grandmother Bertha Akins of Jasonville, AR; two brothers: Marcus Johnson of Little Rock, AR and Dontae Abhulimen of Las Vegas, NV and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, December 23 at 10 AM at Holy Ghost Academy Church of God in Christ, 927 South 4th Street in Augusta with Elder Robert Gibbs officiating. Interment will take place at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Augusta by C.J.
