Marvin Lee Jackson, 60 of Memphis, Tennessee, formerly of Holly Grove, passed away on Sunday, August 23 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis.

Marvin Lee Jackson, or "Moe" was born on Friday June 17, 1966, in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Helen Robinson and Herman Hampton Sr.

He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend F.L. Hall and faithfully served as an usher at First Baptist Church of Holly Grove.

Moe received his education from the Holly Grove Public School system. He was the Valedictorian of the Holly Grove High School class of 1984 .

After graduating high school, Moe proudly enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he served 2 years and received an honorable discharge.

Moe was a hardworking entrepreneur and the proud owner of Moe's Lawncare in Memphis, Tennessee.

His father, Herman Hampton Sr., his stepfather, Robert L. Jackson Sr, and his brothers Terry Robinson and John L. Parks all preceded Moe in death.

Survivors are his children: Takeshia Baker (Tony) of Conway, AR; Detrick Enlow of Fort Smith, AR; Garrett Jackson of Stuttgart, AR; Nandricia Jones of North Little Rock, AR; Jamarlin Jackson (Jamie) of McKinney, TX; Bryon Jackson, Destiny Jackson, and Jada Jackson, all of Holly Grove, AR; Malachi Jackson of Pine Bluff, AR; and Mo'Nique Jackson of Memphis, TN; and 13 grandchildren.

He also leaves his loving mother, Helen Jackson of Holly Grove, AR; his siblings, Darlene Benson of Greenville, SC; Robert Jackson of Holly Grove, AR; Norma Jackson of Atlanta, GA; Ellen Hampton-Lee (Norman) of Benton, AR; Jewel Goodrich (Susan) of Los Angeles, CA; Gerald Goodrich of Lakewood, California; Herman Hampton of Little Rock, Arkansas; Phyllis Henry (Ronderick), Idell Stokes (Brian), and Mary Smith (Rodney), all of Moreno Valley, CA; Linda Adams of Atlanta, GA; Emma Simes (Alvin) of Marion, AR; and Sandra Fleming (Reginald) of Boiling Springs, SC; his special niece, Kalisha Dozier (Steven) of Atlanta, GA; his devoted companion, LaQuita Yarbrough of Memphis, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening, September 4 from 5 PM until 6 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 5 at 1 PM at the Clarendon/Holly Grove High School Auditorium 320 North 7th Street in Clarendon with Bishop Reginald Fleming serving as eulogist. Interment will be private by C.J.
