Lashonda Marie Sparkman

Lashonda Marie Sparkman, 41, of Brinkley, passed away on Sunday, April 12, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Lashonda was born on July 7, 1984, in Forrest City, Arkansas to Roy Leon and Martha Jean Smith.
Affectionately known as "Pretty" to her family and friends, Lashonda received her formal education through the Muskegon Michigan School System.
In February 2023, Lashonda was united in holy matrimony with Malcolm Sparkman.
Lashonda worked as a Home Health Care Aide at Gentiva for a short time, as well as at Cla-Clif Nursing Home in Brinkley.
Her father, Roy Leon, and her maternal and paternal grandparents preceded Lashonda in death.
Survivors include her husband, Malcolm Sparkman of Brinkley, AR; sons: Dewayne Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, and Roy Leon, all of Brinkley, AR; daughter: Dequila Jenkins of Brinkley, AR; mother: Martha (Phillip) Spann of Brinkley, AR; mother-in-law: Dora (Lonnie) Henderson of Palestine, AR; brothers: Joe (Tawanna) Smith, Micheal Burnett, Christopher Douglas, Tony Douglas, Eric Hughes, and Alan Dixon, all of Muskegon, MI; sisters: Lakila Burnett, Johnnie Burnett, and Latora Thompson, all of Muskegon, MI; uncle: Carl (Tammy) Leon of Brinkley, AR; aunts: Nellie Leon of Brinkley, AR, Barbara Mitchell of North Little Rock, AR, and Diane Turner of Jacksonville, AR; great uncle: James (Albessa) Hudson of Brinkley, AR; great aunt: Florene Holiday of Brinkley, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 10:00 AM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main St, Brinkley. Reverend James Leon will serve as the eulogist.
