LaRhonda Ann Williams-Coleman, age 38, of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 20.
Born on March 1, 1987, in Searcy, Arkansas, LaRhonda was the cherished daughter of Aaron Jackson Sr. and Reletha Pearl Williams-Jackson. From a young age, she was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory Plains, Arkansas, where she was baptized. LaRhonda attended and completed her education in the Carlisle Public School district, earning respect and affection from her teachers and peers alike. Family and friends lovingly called her "Bean.
In 2007, LaRhonda united in holy matrimony with Jack Coleman Jr., with whom she shared a loving partnership. After their marriage, she resided for several years in McKinney, Texas. During her time there, she worked diligently as the head dietician and chef for the Belmont Nursing Home for five years. In 2021, LaRhonda returned to Carlisle, continuing to dedicate herself to her family and community.
LaRhonda was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Jackson Sr.; her mother-in-law, Belinda Jones; her paternal grandparents, John Wesley Jackson, and Alice Marie Brock; and her maternal grandparents, Clifton, and Creamola Williams.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Coleman Jr. of Carlisle, AR, and her loving mother, Reletha Williams Jackson of Carlisle, AR. Also mourning her loss are her fathers-in-law, Jack (Carolyn) Coleman Sr. and Walter Jones, both of Lonoke, AR; her brother, Aaron Jackson Jr. of Carlisle, AR; her sisters, Laveria (Tyrone) Cooper of Little Rock, AR, Larissa (George) Nichols and Clarissa (Devonte) Charles, both of Jacksonville, AR; her brother-in-law, Samuel (Chemeka) Coleman of Wichita Falls, TX; her sisters-in-law, Danesha Smith of Lonoke, AR, Jasmine Davis of Jacksonville, AR, and Laquanda Tatum of Little Rock, AR. LaRhonda is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Zavion Sheperd, Aaliyah Shepherd, Callie Gomillion, and Peyton Jackson, along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations Chapel, located at 206 West Washington Street, Stuttgart. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, January 3, at 11:00 AM at Carlisle First Methodist Church, 215 East Third Street in Carlisle, with Pastor Reverend Lee Andrew Coleman III officiating. Interment will take place at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle under the direction of C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley and Stuttgart.
