Kenneth Ray Hawkins, 57, of Augusta passed away on Saturday, December 21 in Augusta.
Kenneth was born on September 7, 1967 in Newport, Arkansas to Orbert Hawkins and Geneva Hardaway-Hawkins. He was the second of three sons born to this union.
Kenneth attended Augusta Public Schools.
"Donnie' as Kenneth was affectionately known, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Augusta, where he sang in the children's choir in his early years.
Kenneth was a former employee of Land O Frost Food Processing Plant in Searcy, Arkansas.
His two brothers: Lonnie Ray Hawkins and Todd Hawkins and one sister Tracy Alcorn preceded Kenneth in death.
Survivors are: his son Kenneth Tripp of Augusta, AR; three grandchildren: Iann Neely of Fayetteville, AR, Kiara Tripp of Fayetteville, AR and Tamera Cox of Newport, AR; his parents: Orbert Hawkins and Geneva Hawkins of Augusta, AR; a brother: Andre Lynn of Augusta, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 422 Mulberry Street in Augusta with Reverend Jessie Booker serving as the eulogist.
