Jessie Brown

Jessie Brown, 76 of Augusta passed away on Thursday, April 10 at Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock.

Jessie was born on June 9, 1948 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Herman Bradford and Arlee Brown.

Jessie attended the Brinkley Public Schools and Marian Anderson High School.

Jessie worked as a Truck Driver for over 25 years. He was employed with Wayne Phillip Trucking in Searcy, Arkansas and also drove for himself through the years.

Jessie was united in holy matrimony to Delois

His parents: Herman Bradford and Arlee Brown and several siblings proceeded Jessie in death.

Survivors are his: wife Delois Brown of Augusta, AR, nine brothers: Corey White of Brinkley, AR; Abraham Collier Jr. of North Little Rock, AR; Michael White of Denver, CO; Jerome (Doris) Brown of Searcy, AR; Bobby (Dorothy) Brown, Stevie Brown, Jimmy Brown, Allen (Stephanie) Brown and Darrell Brown all of Augusta, AR; six sisters: Anna Sue Bradford and Mildred Bradford both of St. Louis, MO; Debra (Vernis) Joe of Stevens, AR; Patricia Smith of Rochester, NY; and Eddie Louise Brown Cunningham of Augusta, AR two special nieces: Ella Moseby of Memphis, TN and Erica Ellis Anthony of Little Rock, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25 at 11:00 AM at CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations Chapel, 124 S Main Street in Brinkley. Internment will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery in Cotton Plant by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley (870)589-5036 and Stuttgart (870)672-7100.
