Elijah Muhammed Hall, 71 of Wynne, formerly of Brinkley, passed away on Monday morning, September14 at Cross Ridge Community Hospital in Wynne.

Elijah was born on Saturday, September 10, 1955 in Marianna, Arkansas to Linkton Morris Hall and Rebecca Holbrook.

As a child growing up in the Moro community Elijah attended Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with his family.

Elijah received his education from the Moro and Marianna Public Schools, where he enjoyed playing sports like basketball and track as well as other extracurricular activities. He was a 1974 graduate of Lee Senior High School in Marianna.

Elijah worked as a farmer for more than 35 plus years in the Moro and Wynne areas, before retiring due to health issues.

His parents: Linkton Hall and Rebecca Holbrook; two sons: Leon Holbrook and Tony Holbrook: three sisters: Carolyn Holbrook, Shirley Holbrook, and TaRena Davis all preceded Elijah in death.

Survivors are his wife Sharon Hall of Wynne, AR; sons: Fredrick Foreman of West Siloam Springs, OK; Jerome Foreman of Fayetteville, AR; John Leon of Wynne, AR; daughters: Cynthia Bellinger of Wynne, AR; LaRena Jones and Marianne Bellinger both of Jonesboro, AR; 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; Godchildren: Troy Woods, Kyree Mayo, Kayla Isby, Kirsten Mayo and Caleb Mayo; Brothers: O.C. Holbrook of Jonesboro, AR; Terry Holbrook, Joe Lee Holbrook, Luther Holbrook and Tryone Davis all of Chicago, IL; sisters: Rebecca Holbrook and Tabitha Holbrook of Chicago, IL; and Marilyn Garner of Jonesboro, AR; father and mother in law: Lorenzo and Ethel Foreman of Moro, AR; brother in law Willie James Rivers of Wynne, AR; Sisters in law Elatris Williams and Barbara Jamerson both of Moro, AR; Rosie Washington of Brinkley, AR; Luritha Green Bloomingburg of Forrest City, AR; Kimberly Parks of Pine Bluff, AR; and Jennifer Woods of Wynne and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 3 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chaapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley with Reverend Leroy Harper serving as eulogist. Interment will be private by C.J.
