Di'Andre Lashun Woods

Di 'Andre Lashun Woods, 33, of Bald Knob, passed away on Saturday, June 6 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Di 'Andre was born on February 28, 1993, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Horace Woods Jr. and Melissa Ann Williams.

Although Di 'Andre was not member of a permanent church home, he often enjoyed attending local churches within the community on a regular basis with family and friends.

Di 'Andre affectionately known as "D" to his family and friends, received a formal education at Bald Knob Public Schools, where he was regularly active in extracurricular activities such as football, basketball, and baseball. He was part of the Bald Knob High School graduating class of 2011. He went on to attend Arkansas State University in Beebe, Arkansas.

Di 'Andre was employed with FedEx in Memphis for about a year before his health took a turn. He had previously been employed at Walmart in Searcy for 6 years. During his teenage years, he was employed at the local McDonald's franchise in Bald Knob, where he became very well known by the community due to his awesome personality and amazing smile.

His paternal grandparents: Horace Woods Sr., and Lovie Mae Woods; and his maternal grandparents Frankie Lee Williams Sr., and Janice Williams, all preceded Di 'Andre in death.

Survivors are his mother Melissa Graham of Bald Knob, AR; his father Horace Woods Jr. of Searcy, AR.; brothers: Terrell Woods of Memphis, TN., and Kamron Graham of Russellville, AR.; sister: Alyssa Johnson of Columbia, SC., and host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20th, at 11:00AM at Central Baptist Church, 1507 West Center Street in Bald Knob with Pastor Roderick Smith serving as the eulogist. Interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc. By C.J.
