Addie Marie Geans, 65 of Biscoe, passed away on August 2 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.
Addie was born January 26, 1960 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Jessie Geans and Essie Mae Sanders Geans.
Addie received her education from the Biscoe and DeValls Bluff Public School System. She was a 1978 graduate of DeValls Bluff High School.
As a child, Addie grew up attending Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Biscoe, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Russell Penn Sr.
Addie had recently been an employee of Remington Arms Ammunition Plant in Lonoke for more than 16 years. She had previously been employed by Hazen Nursing and Rehab Center for 10 years and Hazen Tech Powdered Metal Parts for several years.
Her parents: Jessie Geans and Essie Mae Geans; three brothers: Jessie "Jack" Geans, Robert Jessie Geans, and Sisters: Mary Geans Williams and Geraldine Geans all preceded Addie in death.
Survivors are: her son Malcolm Geans of Biscoe, AR; her daughter Tierra Geans (Chad) Pearson of Lonoke, AR; three grandsons: Colyss Pearson, Taylor Pearson and Torin Pearson all of Lonoke, AR; brothers Henry (Rose) Geans of Bellwood, Il and Johnny Geans of Maywood, IL; sisters: Christine Dunlap Allean Bonds and Jessie Mae Bailey all Biscoe, AR; Darlene (Steve) Cohen and Wyoma (Gregory) Metcalf both of DeValls Bluff, AR; Barbara Bonds and Nicole Geans both of Lonoke, AR and Elaine Green of Bellwood, IL; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday evening August 15 from 5 PM until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 2:30 PM at the DeValls Bluff High School Auditorium ( Community Center), 710 East Sycamore Street in DeValls Bluff with Pastor Dr. Darrell Foster serving as eulogist. Interment will take place at Harrison Cemetery in Biscoe by C.J.
